What is a Marriage Adventure 

The marriage adventure is an experience carefully crafted for married couples to bring them closer to each other and closer to God. It is hosted by Couple on a Journey. It is a full day of fun and engaging activities.

Who can attend the Marriage Adventure 
The marriage adventure is open to all married couples regardless of how long they have been married for.

When and where is the marriage adventure 
When: 10th August 2019

Where: Brackenhurst Tigoni

Why should I attend?

Time away from regular life; Over time the stresses of everyday life can drive us apart and put a strain on our relationship. We all need time alone, and the more you make it a habit, the less it will be weird when you do.

Learn from and meet other couples; On the 10th of August come learn from Emmanuel Gachanja and his wife Caroline who have been married 17years They will share their challenges, lessons learned and victories.One of the greatest things is meeting other couples working to improve their marriages. Couples in the same season. Some in earlier or later seasons. It is always encouraging and refreshing.

Because your marriage needs it more than you think and you love your spouse; Like us, you may realize your marriage isn’t perfect, but think it’s okay. But when you attend the marriage adventure, you will realize your marriage can be so much greater.The ultimate reason is you love your spouse and are willing to do anything to show your love, grow closer, and have a better marriage.

What is the attire at the Marriage Adventure?What should we bring?

You will be walking, so please consider comfortable shoe such as sneakers or hiking boots.The general session and workshop rooms are set at a cooler temperature (68-70°), so you may want to dress in layers.

Tigoni can be cold please carry a warm jacket or sweater. A small bag pack is ideal for the couple activties (One per couple). Please carry a picnic blanket/maasai blanket.

What are the timings for the event? 

The Marriage adventure starts at 745am, and ends at 445pm.

How and when do I register?

You may register/reserve your spot by filling in this form
Deadline for registration and final payment is 5th August 2019. All payments are via mpesa paybill business number 508400 account number 10181302000106.

How much does it cost to attend?
The marriage adventure is 8500 per couple, payable in one or two instalments of 4,000 and 4500. Deadline for initial deposit is 31st July and for final deposit is 5th August 2019.

What does the cost cover? 

The cost covers transport to and from Brackenhurst from the City Center(pick up location-TBC), programming activities, 3 course lunch, 2 snacks and a take away gift.

Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
Yes, once we have processed your registration and payment, a confirmation detailing your registration will be sent to your email.

Can we bring children? 

While we love children, the marriage adventure is crafted for adults only and infants and children are not allowed.

Do you cater for allergies/ special considerations? 

Yes we do, you will however have to communicate during time of registration. This is also applicable to special considerations such as accesibilty. illness or pregnancy.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

Refund Policy: Request for refund must be made in writing to coupleonajourneyke@gmail.com and must be timestamped no later than 10 days prior to start of event. A 50% processing fee will be deducted from the total refund amount. No refunds will be processed within 10 day to the event. Cancellations made due to extenuating circumstances are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and require approval. Any cancellations made on-site are not eligible for a refund.

Speaker Information 

Emmanuel Gachanja is the Executive Director of Life Solution Leadership Foundation.

He is a husband to Caroline and together have been married 17 years and have three children.

He is passionate about discipleship/mentorship, and especially when it comes to the family unit. Through his many challenges, learning’s and consequent victories his has purposed to share and walk with other married couples to bring positive influence to marriage as a Marriage Coach.
