Congratulations, you are getting married!!
Here are a few tips on how to plan an unforgettable honeymoon

The day is drawing closer, and while your mind is 90% preoccupied with the wedding day, you have a nagging feeling you should start planning your honeymoon.
With your mind filled with the details of the cake, the outfits, or which parent is not cooperating, we are here to help you.
Here are a few tips to consider when playing a honeymoon.
1. Talk about it: Gone are the days when the groom planned the entire honeymoon and surprised the bride the night of the wedding. As a couple come up with a few options: a wish list of dream honeymoon destinations. Personalities and preferences play a huge part in honeymoon destinations. The last thing you want is an excited groom about hiking and an exhausted, sulky bride.
2. Agree on a destination. Marriage is a lifelong decision-making journey, and agreeing on a honeymoon is a good place to practice when to compromise, when to push, and how to negotiate. At the end of the day, ensure you have both agreed on a destination.
3. Plan for it. With a destination in mind, weigh the options based on your budget and preferences. Which one works best for you, a travel agency, Airbnb, or a road trip into the unknown? Whatever the case, ensure deposits are made before the wedding day.
4. Pack a bag: I know a husband who showed up to his honeymoon with nothing, and we have been married for 13 years now. It is essential to create a honeymoon packing checklist for both of you and keep each other accountable. You will be shocked at how some things are not that obvious to everyone.
5. Consider starting the honeymoon the day after your wedding. This helps in case you forget something, and always leaves room for unforeseen changes in plans.
6. Plan for some intentional and impactful moments. In the race to the wedding day, it’s easy to forget that you have a life to build together. Plan to have some moments to talk about what kind of marriage you want to have, what it will take, what you want to look back at our 1st anniversary and celebrate.
Finally, have fun on the honeymoon, let loose, and take lots of pictures.
